Waterstons Traditional Sealing wax sticks (over 30 colours available - see below) mailable. Each stick will do approx 8-10 seals (based on 2.2cm seal) or 5 seals (based on 2.6cm seal ) and has a taper/wick. Approx 10cm length. Waterstons High Quality Scottish Sealing Wax sticks with a taper/wick throughout the length of wax. With good adhesive quality, this wax is ideal for the individual user and corporate projects. All sticks are mailable and contains a flexi agent (please see wax posting notice). Available in 35 wonderful colours - stick size approx. 10cm length. All colours contain a wick. (wick-less wax is available for large order of 200 sticks or more - special order only)

The colours are as close as I can possible get them, but they may vary on different monitors

To ensure your wax seal arrives in tact, it is recommended that you protect your seal in an outer envelope if posting, and perhaps have them hand stamped at the Post Office, mailable sealing wax is more resilient than traditional sealing wax (which would just crumble to dust), but will probably not withstand rough handling by post office machines if they should decide to chew them up ! It is also advisable to test your envelope with the wax seal to ensure that they will stick properly. So far the ones I have tested have arrived in tact - but this is not guaranteed.

New ~ glue gun sealing wax available in Red, Gold and Silver only. Each stick will do approx
6 - 8 seals (depending on how generous you are) ~ based on our 2.2cm wax seal.
Just load the gun with the sealing wax, wait for it to heat up, squeeze the trigger and make your wax seal.
We recommend this sealing wax only be used with the gun supplied. This wax is mailable, but we still recommend an outter envelope to ensure it reaches it's destination. (see note above)

Broken pieces of Bank of England Sealing wax available in 50g bags @ £3.25 (inc VAT) per bag available from the shopping cart.

Bank of England Red Sealing wax pieces - this wax is available in chunk size pieces (various sizes), which can be melting in either a small melting spoon or a small saucepan on a home cooker (there is a small set of saucepans available in Ikea for £5 ideal for the purpose), Heat very gently, do not allow to boil, you can then spoon the wax out with a normal teaspoon or melting spoon (it will be unusable for anything else afterwards!). 50g is enough for approx. 30 - 40 seals This wax is not suitable for posting out on the back of envelopes as it is brittle, it is best for when you need to produce a large amount of seals that do not require posting. For Scrolls, you can first make your seals onto a sheet of ie. greaseproof paper, remove and then stick on to your scroll or invitation. NOT SUITABLE FOR USE ON ENVELOPES GOING THROUGH THE POSTAL SYSTEM, AS IT WILL CRUMBLE OR BREAK .
